The Kunming Baoxiang Wanton Cold Chain Port Project has a total investment of 2.5 billion yuan, with a construction area of approximately 170,000m2 in Phase I (Zone A), including 2 low-temperature cold storage and 1 global food experience exhibition center; A new 50000 ton cold storage will be built in the second phase. After the completion of the project, it will become the largest collection of frozen food storage and trading, cold chain distribution, imported food display experience, central kitchen, green food processing, bonded, railway port, food inspection and quarantine, supply chain gold integrated "Internet +" modern cold chain logistics base and tourism leisure station, and is also one of the largest cold chain logistics hubs in Asia. At present, the first phase of the cold storage section was put into trial operation on December 31, 2018, and the exhibition center section was put into trial operation on December 20, 2019. The ARCO R744 (CO2)/R515B cascade refrigeration skid selected for this project adopts a centralized cold station cooling and hot water combined supply design. While meeting the refrigeration needs of refrigerated and display cabinets, the waste heat from the refrigeration system is recycled to meet the domestic hot water needs of Wanton city Hotel Apartments and Catering. The cooling capacity and heat of the system are fully utilized, maximizing the overall energy efficiency of the unit.
